nautilus: The Paper Nautilus or argonaut is a small cibranchiate cephalopod. The female is protected by a thin, single-chambered shell and has webbed dorsal arms which it was once believed were used for sails. The Pearly Nautilus is a tetrabranchiate cephalopod found in the Pacific and Indian oceans.
