TEI

405. Robert Baldwin to Joseph Weston, with a statement of expenses regarding Bloomfield sales, fair copy, 18 April 1825 *

April 18th 1825

Dear Sir

I inclose a statement of the Debtor & creditor account of the 'Remains' in order to show how far the sale to the present moment will set off against the expences yet unpaid. You will see that it is scarcely adequate to pay the expences incurred by us—namely, paper, binding & advertising, leaving Mr Davisons bill still unsettled.—With regard to the other account which is made up to Decr 31, it would be quite useless to make it up to a later period because the few that have been sold, since that time, being sold on credit can have no more influence in the account than any others which may further be sold during the year.

I remain dear sir your faithful servt

Robert Baldwin
