From my School the
upper end of Gerrard Street near Newport
Market where Young Ladies are Taught &c.
To the Ladies of Great Britain

As I have largely profided for the Instruction of those of my own Sex, in
the Art of fair Writing, so I esteem it my Duty to endeavour every Perfection
of your Qualifications, by presenting you with an imitable Specimen of
the Italian Hand, which, as your own, I recommend to your choice and
practice, being full of Beauty, Ornament and Delight, & Invented for the Sole use and Embellishment of your fair Sex and am
Your humble Serv.
