Joseph Johnson (1738-1809) was a bookseller and publisher located in St. Paul's Churchyard in the City of London, who published many of the radical thinkers of his time, including Wordsworth, Wollstonecraft, Cowper, Barbauld, John Aikin, and Erasmus Darwin. Among his acquaintance were Blake, Priestley, painter Henri Fuseli, and Thomas Paine. He ran a monthly, The Analytical Review, from 1788 to 1799.
