The Collected Letters of Robert Southey Part 4: 1810-1815

2486. Robert Southey to Grosvenor Charles Bedford, 14 October [1814] *

My dear Grosvenor

Will you transmit the mss. [1]  to Streatham per Docstorum – or mount Orelio [2]  & carry it there yourself.

I have been ten days from home & am returned now, on my return, fairly sat down to the winters campaign. – When shall I see Barre’s remains? [3]  – You are more sanguine respecting Roderick than I am.

in haste
