The Collected Letters of Robert Southey Part 3

1173. Robert Southey to John Rickman, 11 April [1806] *

Norwich. Friday 11 April.

My dear Rickman

I have not apprized you earlier of my movements because Wordsworth would be my Precursor, & therefore it was needless. My place is taken for Sunday afternoon in a coach which being four hours longer on the road than the mail, has the advantage of arriving in town at a more seasonable hour. So, if no xx unforeseen impediment prevent, I hope & expect to be safely landed with you about twelve on Monday morning.

God bless you

RS.
