The Collected Letters of Robert Southey Part 3

1349. Robert Southey to Grosvenor Charles Bedford, 1 August 1807 *

1 Augt 1807

My dear Grosvenor

Why have you not written to me? After the account in your last that Horace was as ill as he could be & that no hopes were given of him. You may suppose how anxiously I have expected to hear something, – & till I know something it is impossible that I can say more to you than thus to make the enquiry.

God bless you
