"Brave KUTUS-off, and PLAT-off[1] too,
    Are names quite free from scoff, Sir;
But of the third, pray what think you
    Now BONAPARTE'S off, Sir?"

1. Kutuzov, who fought the French at the Battle of Borodino, and Platov were leaders of the armies which drove the French from Russia in 1812.
