Wendy C. Nielsen

Wendy C. Nielsen is an Associate Professor in the English Department at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she teaches comparative literature from 1650 to the present, including literature of the Enlightenment, European Romanticism, world literature and drama, and science fiction. She has authored Women Warriors in Romantic Drama (2012) and scholarly essays on Romantic-era automata, theater, the drama of the French Revolution, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Olympe de Gouges, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Elizabeth Inchbald, Charlotte Corday, and Boadicea.
