--Objects in the world and in material culture; the "universe of things"
--The body as an object: of desire, of value, of exchange
--Objects understood as aims, goals, pursuits and projects
--Imaginary objects: nations, ideals, identities
--Relationships between Romantic subjects and objects
Please send 250-word proposals for 20-minute papers by June 1, 2007. The organizers are also accepting proposals for special sessions. Please submit a 250-word description of your proposed session by April 1. Send all inquiries to Fran Botkin (Towson University) and Erin Goss (Loyola College in MD) at icr2007@loyola.edu. The website is still under construction but is up at www.loyola.edu/romanticobjects.
