Chet Lisiecki

Chet Lisiecki received his PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Oregon in 2014 and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of German at Colorado College. He has published on Pound and Nietzsche and teaches courses on trauma studies, modernism, and representations of fascism. His current book project, which has evolved since this conversation with Tres and is now titled Object Trauma: Towards a Non-Correlationist Theory of Suffering and Forgiveness, investigates the aesthetic, ethical, political, environmental, and psychological implications of a traumatic ontology of objects.
