Grosvenor I am very uneasy at receiving no tidings of or from you – or Horace. write – if only to tell me the reason of your silence.
Somewhat oddly it has happened that I have been told here by one who professed to know accurately, & perhaps had the means of knowing, that your father is worth one & twenty thousand pounds. It was Sharp who said this, & as if on Isaac Reids [1] authority.
