Imagined landscapes in British Romantic Poetry

Assignment 2: Re-Imagining the Imagined Landscape

A Romantic Circles High School Curriculum Module

In "This Lime-Tree Bower my Prison" Coleridge imagines several landscapes that affect both himself and the other characters in the poem in different ways. Choose one of these landscapes and create a MOO object that depicts a landscape in your world, natural or man-made, that affects you in a similar manner. Use showing writing in the object's description to describe your landscape and how it affects you in a manner similar to how the poem's characters are affected by the setting that you chose in the poem. Be sure to include a reference to landscape in the poem (include line numbers) to which your object speaks.
