Assignment 8: Imagined Spaces and Spaces Imagined

A Romantic Circles High School Curriculum Module

The final project for this unit asks you to create a MOO Interpretation of a section of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner." Assignments 4 and 6 involved the process of developing the list of critical questions that will frame your interpretation. The purpose of this assignment to help you start formulating your answers to these questions. Login to the Villa Diodati and visit the Moozymandias room, which can be found in the Schoolhouse Library. After reviewing Moozymandias, imagine ideas for three objects (like the one's found in Moozymandias) that would answer the questions posted on the Blackboard in the room that you have been assigned to work on for the final project. Bring a written description of each object, each on its own piece of paper, to your next class meeting. Each description should include a name for the object, a description of the type of header image that it should have, and written description that uses showing language to describe the object and how it answers one of the room's questions.
