Jared McGeough

Dr. Jared McGeough (PhD, Theory and Criticism, University of Western
Ontario) has taught courses in Romantic and Victorian literature as well as
literary criticism at Concordia University (Montreal) and the University of
Regina. His research explores Romantic confrontations with and figurations of
anarchy, and how these both inform and resist the emergence of anarchism as a
political ideology in the later nineteenth century. He is also currently
co-editing a digital edition of William Godwin's History of England, for the
use of Schools and Young Persons
(1806) for Romantic Circles, and editing two
forthcoming issues of Literature Compass on "Romantic Anarchism" and
“Romanticism and Speculative Realism.”
